Quoted in the Globe and Mail Today (Tuesday)!

Last Friday, I was contacted by the Globe and Mail via my other site, DelectablyChic!, about price increases when international stores open in Canada (this was after all that kerfuffle about J.Crew double charging duty that was in the media).  After receiving an email, I called the paper right away to discuss what I thought about (non-Canadian) brand loyalty (and if you know me, petite issues will DEFINITELY COME UP).  The article appeared online yesterday and in print today.  Below is the portion where I’m quoted.  You can read the entire article here.

I have to say that the conversation went beyond the whole petite issue – especially considering the fact that many brands that *DO* have petites vanity size pretty badly!  And sure, there’s more availability in the US, but I have to credit certain parts of Toronto for carrying a good selection of size 5 shoes.  You can’t find that in New York!
